French and Family
http://edsitement.neh.gov/lesson-plan/french-and-family
French and Family
Young children are fascinated, though sometimes a bit frightened, by cultures different from their own. They are also at a stage of development when it's exciting and relatively easy to acquire new vocabulary.
This unit on French language and culture takes full advantage of these points; and its focus on the family ?a subject to which all students can relate ?keeps the lessons simple and age-appropriate.
Students will learn about French families and gain a preliminary knowledge of the French language, learning the French names for various family members.

French Tongue Twisters - Les Virelangues
Tongue twisters, known as virelangues in French, are words or phrases which are repeated as quickly as possible as a test of the speaker's ability to correctly pronounce the succession of similar sounds. For French students, les virelangues provide an interesting insight into the French language as well as a way to practice phrases which are difficult even for native speakers.

Interactive Activities for French Teachers and Learners
http://www.zut.org.uk/index.html
Interactive Activities for French Teachers and Learners
Having worked as a teacher for the past ten years, I know exactly how people's motivation can start to flag after a while, be it for pupils or for teachers. E-learning is not the miracle solution but I hope that this site will provide some help for teachers trying to motivate their pupils, and for pupils looking at a way to revise for tests or exams, or for anybody wanting to have some fun playing French games.
In this site, you will find a list of topics for each year, and for each topic at least a couple of exercises for each skill, reading, writing and listening.
In this site, I have roughly followed the scheme of work of Route Nationale. If your school follows a different scheme of work, it might be worth your looking under the other years for the topics you might be looking for.
