7 Ways to Use Evernote
Evernote boasts a variety of features that make it an excellent application, including automatic synchronization between the web and your other devices, tagging and sorting features, an online client that makes it accessible from anywhere, and a search feature that can even search text stored within images.
"I’m a big fan of anything that keeps my data synchronized between devices, let alone totally automatically, so I was keen to give Evernote a try. It has grown on me in a short amount of time. It’s great for keeping snippets of information, replacing stickies and taking down notes, and pasting research from the web into.
It’s got a pretty unique set of features and fills a gap in my workflow I’d been looking to fill in terms of applications, so today we’ll look at seven ways to use Evernote to make life easier.

The Web Scrapbook
http://chnm.gmu.edu/tools/scrapbook/
Think of the Web Scrapbook as a clipping file for the Internet. Into that file you can place images, excerpts, and whole web pages that you find while you surf the web or that reside on your computer. In addition, you can annotate these items, sort them into folders, and add memos to those folders. Unlike a bookmarks file or favorites list that is stored by your web browser on your computer's hard drive, you can access items you save to the Web Scrapbook from any computer connected to the Internet.
In addition, the Web Scrapbook is a collaborative environment. You can grant other Web Scrapbook users access to any folder you choose, and allow them to annotate, comment upon, copy, move, and delete items within those folders. They can also add items to those folders if you give them permission
Using the Web Scrapbook, a class working on a project together could place all of the items they wish to discuss or annotate into one shared folder. Groups with a common interest could collaboratively build, sort, and annotate a list of relevant web pages, images, and passages.
