Rising Voices proudly announces the first in a series of outreach guides meant to explain the fundamentals of citizen media to a non-technical readership.
The first guide, An Introduction to Citizen Media, offers context and case studies which show how everyday citizens across the world are increasingly using blogs, podcasts, online video, and digital photography to engage in an unmediated conversation which transcends borders, cultures, and differing languages.

The TeachGlobal website
The Teach Global courses and resources have been developed to support primary and secondary teachers wanting to extend their teaching of the global dimension through all aspects of school life. Two of the courses focus on managing this process and two look specifically at curriculum issues. The secondary course focuses on the teaching of geography. It is hoped in future to add a range of other secondary subjects.
This free resource from the Open University and funded by
DfID provides teachers of science with valuable CPD opportunities together
with ideas and resources for pupil activities in lessons.
