iPadography (not iPhoneography)

What I learned about iPadography (not iPhoneography) during the ISTE 13 Photo Walk
During the ISTE 2013 Photo Walk in San Antonio, TX we met Carlos Austin. He is a professional photographer from Austin, TX who drove to San Antonio just to participate in the photo walk.
After our walk from the convention center to the Alamo, the 172+ participants started breaking into smaller groups to continue their photo walk. Carlos approached Larry Anderson and myself and offered to guide us around the Alamo grounds and Riverwalk, showing us photo opportunities we would never have found on our own.

https://www.flickr.com/groups/366photos/pool
2013/365photos
This group was started for in 2008 and will likely be running for years to come. A photo per day project for each year - 365 by the end of the year (one more for leap years). No rules, no requirements, no apologizing, just shoot a lot and share ONE photo per day. Doesn't matter of what, or with what device.
Upload photos to your own flickr site and add your daily photo to this group *after* you join.Be sure to spread some comment love and join the discussions.
The group started when a bunch of folks, mostly edubloggers, on Twitter decided to to the project in 2008. We had maybe 50 people. It grew like crazy since then and e hit 800 members last year-- many have been here for the whole run. Onward to 2013.

Photography : 4 2 Explore
http://www.42explore.com/photog.htm
This web project provides "four to explore" for each topic.
On each page you'll find definitions, activities, 4 good starting points, and many more links and resources for the thematic topic.
In some cases, we've listed more than four websites on a particular topic. For example, we might provide a few for younger readers and others for more advanced learners.
Each school, classroom, and teacher is unique. As such we didn't try to provide specific activities for particular grade levels. Instead we suggest that teachers explore each link, then design specific, developmentally appropriate activities such as discussion questions, small group activities, or webquests to fit the needs of their curriculum.
The links on this site are safe for children.
