NAACE is a UK organisation which has a membership of about 800 consisting of ICT Inspectors, Advisors, Government Representatives, Independent Consultants and those linked with companies and organisations who 'service' ICT in education.

The Association has an annual conference, I was fortunate enough to be funded by the ESF to attend the one in 2000:

• 9th to 12th February 2000 (during the Chinese New Year holiday period)
• venue at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool

This report gives some information about the conference, but more importantly highlights some of the follow-up work that has resulted from the visit.
