  2. name and save the new document
  3. amend/edit the document
  4. use the style facility
  5. format the layout of the document
  6. move, copy and delete text
  7. demonstrate the use of word-wrap
  8. make use of scrolling facility
  9. align text ie justify, left and right
  10. use different fonts
  11. print document
Distinction Level only:
  1. produce a standard letter
  2. use mail merge/mail shot facility
  3. demonstrate understanding of selection of word processing or page layout programs
